go on...be a (social) tease
If you haven’t heard of the Social Tease line of shirts yet, you need to be checking out this site. Orange
County local, Nancy Chapman, is the creator and sole proprietor of Social
Tease. Social Tease’s mission is “giving back one tee at a time by donating
25% of the proceeds from the profits of each tee to animal rescue and
conservation groups” and they do
this through great design and faboulous shirts. Nancy asked if I would design a
couple of shirts (Cougar and Puppy Love) for her t-shirt line as well as
designing her Big Cartel website, I “pounced” at the opportunity.
From the site: Social
Tease is a lifestyle brand designed to make a positive difference. Founded by
Nancy Chapman, a lifelong animal lover with sartorial flair to spare, Social
Tease is the inspired result of her twin passions for environment and fashion.
Nancy’s volunteer
work at a local animal shelter motivated her first line of Tee’s, “Save A Life,
Adopt A Pet.” Working with like-minded designers who embraced her vision of
making a difference, Social Tease came to be with six designs which include the
most popular – “Prejudice is the Pits.” Notable for their stylish designs and
positive, pro-active messages, Social Tease has been embraced by a growing
audience of socially conscious clients of all ages.
Thank you Nancy for letting
me work with you and your inspiring brand! And although my recent birthday may
suggest otherwise, I have never really considered myself a Cougar…but for
you…I’ll be a Cougar who makes a difference.
